SB-6400 Wet Look Penetrating Sealer is a low VOC, water based blend of silane/siloxane and polymers that chemically bonds to the substrate creating both a water and oil repellent finish. SB-6400 will seal and enhance the beauty of new and old surfaces with a luxurious, wet look, matte finish that enriches surface tone and color contrast. It is breathable and will not trap efflorescence, allowing it to be applied immediately after new paving stones are installed. SB-6400 improves surface durability and freeze-thaw resistance while protecting the surface from salt, acid, and staining from oil, food, and other contaminants. SB-6400’s water repellent feature will produce beading of water on the surface and will help to inhibit biological growth such as mold, moss and algae. SB-6400 has the consistency of water and is milky white when applied. Once dry, it will enhance color and contrast with a matte (while maintaining a natural look) finish. SB-6400 Wet Look Penetrating Sealer can be used both inside and outside on old and new pavements. Cured sealer is freeze resistant to -60°F (-51°C) and is stable up to a temperature of 180°F (82°C).
Ideal for horizontal and vertical surfaces including cultured and natural stone containing quartz or other silicas. Also suitable for concrete, concrete and clay pavers, grout, unglazed tile and terra cotta. Not recommended for marble, limestone, agglomerate tiles and polished surfaces with a high gloss finish as they do not absorb the sealer.
A test area is always recommended to determine product suitability and compatibility with your specific surface before use and also if desired results are achievable. Due to the inherent variability of natural stone and clay products, long term performance may vary. Please consult with us prior to sealing if there are concerns.

Per gallon. For two coat applications apply wet-on-wet at right angles to the first coat using approximately two thirds of the estimated amount on the first coat and one third on the second ensuring saturation. Actual coverage may vary depending on the type, age, condition, porosity of the surface, application method and other local conditions such as temperature & humidity.
TEST FIRST on a small inconspicuous area to determine the suitability and if desired results are achievable with this product on your specific surface. On new concrete, SB-6400 should be applied once concrete is fully cured (30 days after installation) to ensure optimal performance. The surface should be thoroughly clean and free from oil, dust, loose material, and previously applied sealer prior to sealer application. If needed, prepare surface with Surebond Cleaners before sealing. Thoroughly rinse all cleaner residue prior to sealing. After cleaning or rain, wait 2 hours after the surface is dry before sealer application. A leaf blower is recommended to remove dust, debris and fine sand particles from the surface. Protect nearby landscape, vehicles, buildings and window glass from overspray of SB-6400.
Apply when day and night temperatures are between 40°F – 95°F. Avoid windy conditions to minimize drifting. Agitate or stir before each use. For best results, apply SB-6400 at full strength (never dilute) using a low pressure sprayer, roller, sponge or pad. Make sure that the surface is completely saturated. Always apply two coats, ‘wet on wet’, and at 90° angles to ensure complete coverage. Do not allow surface to dry between coats. Use liberally to ensure complete coverage. Remove puddles/excess material immediately with a foam roller. Excess material on surface can be slippery, cures slowly, and is difficult to remove once cured. Avoid contact with glass. If this product is allowed to dry on glass a residue may be created that is not removable. Material coverage will depend on the surface porosity and texture.
Depending on environmental conditions and substrate type, a light reapplication may be required every 1 to 3 years to maintain desired effect. NOTE: Application of this product is out of the control of SEK-Surebond. Application steps should be followed completely and accurately. Should a problem occur with this product, SEK-Surebond limits liability to product replacement only. Buyer assumes all risk and liability resulting from the use or misuse of this product.
Surface will be dry to touch within 60 minutes assuming 65-85°F at 50% relative humidity. Low surface or air temperature and or high relative humidity will extend dry times. Protect the surface from dust, rain, condensation and traffic while drying. Area can be open to foot & vehicular traffic in 24 hours depending on site conditions. Full cure in 7 days under normal conditions.
For tools and equipment, use soap and water before product is allowed to dry.
